Have to say I’m not looking forward to this one.
Scummers have gone down again. Oh and the snake has been done at home to Millwall.
Weirdly I’m feeling quietly confident.
Despite the disappointing result against Derby, anyone who attended could see the spirit and effort was there, injuries and old legs have caught up with us.
With the physio’s room overflowing, it will be interesting to see what Des can conjure up from the walking wounded. Three at the back looks the most likely with Stevens and Bennet as the wingbacks. McGuane and Rodrigues both look like they need a rest and/or are playing with knocks. I can’t see them both being rested but perhaps McEachran will start instead of McGuane.
With Murphy and Mills looking doubtful, we look very one paced, that’s my main concern.
However, unexpected performances and victories can often come from no where. There appears to be far more unrest within the Charlton fanbase than Oxford’s. If we can frustrate and turn the home fans against their team we have a chance.
1-2. Brannigan, Rodrigues.
How many of our injured have hamstrings
?
I think at that time their overall capacity was 108k70,000 on that terrace I think
Still a lot of passing backwards, but Im beginning to see a bit of a reason!
I can remember staring at that terrace in wonder when we drew 3-3 there towards the end of the 84/5 season, it was huge. Think that game was one of the last they played there before the ground was shut down originally. The Valley in the mid 1980’s.
I think Charlton’s ground used to have the largest capacity in the league if my memory serves me right? Port Vale I think might have been up there at one point too, but could be wrong on this.I think at that time their overall capacity was 108k

Great goal but why do people continually film a game when they are at it? you can watch the whole match back the next morning on iFollow and the goals are put on the Sky app usually around an hour after the game!
Probably won’t be too long until he’s reffing in the PL, similar happened with Jarred Gillett when he moved from the A League and worked his way up pretty quickly from EFL to PL.Forgot to give a shout out to the ref. He’s brand new from the MLS in America. By far the best we’ve had this season. Fair to both teams. Was excellent at playing advantages and rightly booked our players and theirs. That’s how a game should be reffed.
He's right - just imagine if we'd had our first team!
Credit to Buckingham today for the setup in limited circumstances. We dominated Charlton and subsequently rarely looked to be in trouble. Only worry today was that until Oisin’s strike, I feared that we may just come away with a point, despite the one-sided nature of the game, and what an injustice that would have been.
