Blackpool and Stevenage currently 3 points behind but played a game more and a worse GD. I still think both are out of the running.

stevenage 3 points behind, goal difference +11 but us+18 and game in hand

Focus on looking above rather than below. We could be a point off 4th at 5pm on Saturday.

I just hope Peterborough put all their effort in tomorrow night to get the win. If they lose then I won’t like us playing a wounded animal on Saturday!

Edit: a win tomorrow for Peterborough all but secures their playoff place.

Barnsley have Reading and Northampton, two teams with nothing to play for. If we are hoping Exeter take it easy then why should we expect Reading and Northampton to give Barnsley a game? Our run in is unquestionably harder than Barnsley’s.

Our form is also significantly better than Barnsley.

But I guess we only consider form when it goes against Oxford.

Reading are not quite safe yet (mathematically, at least) - imagine they'll want at least one more result before they mentally hit the beach. They've been a decent team of late, so I doubt they'll give Barnsley a free hit on the weekend.

Though Northampton at home on the final weekend is a friendly finish......

A Peterborough win tomorrow and they’ll be thinking they can get 2nd as they play Oxford away & Fleetwood at home following tomorrow.

They’ll be thinking 9 points.

Barnsley have Pompey and Blackpool away, Northampton are higher placed than Exeter too. Anyways if we can't get results against Posh, Lincoln and Stevenage at home we don't deserve to get in the playoffs, we don't just want to get into the play offs to make up the numbers we want to go into them full of confidence that we can win promotion.
