Fingers crossed this is money well spent, and based on our transfers I have faith in Ed and the recruitment team.

Shame he comes in injured, but presume we had to act fast to bring him in as there was interest from other teams.

Assume we will still be looking for another striker (on loan?) to bring in this month, as we still only have Harris as it stands.

The article on the club website says he isn't even joining training till the end of the month, so seems unlikely he'll play as soon as he resumes training. I reckon we won't see him for a few games.

After Cheltenhams game against Portsmouth ( Jan 6th) Darren Clarke said they expected Goodwin to be back at the end of that week. He was indeed on the bench against Bolton last week. So the injury can’t be that serious. He has not played for two weeks, seems to me the club are playing it softly softly, I for one will not be surprised to see him available next Saturday. Anyway, with both Tyler’s banging them in, he might be a bench warmer
