Interesting.

I’ve come across a fair few managers and players in my time - nothing like as many as you maybe have - and to be honest I liken a lot of them to comedians (not in the literal sense) but in that the public persona is very very different to the one portrayed on TV or in the media. A lot have been associated with OUFC and, put this way, the genuine, sincere, salt of the earth ones you could count on the fingers of one hand.

Kind of true.

Wilder come across a right grumpy tosser whilst Oxford manager but outside of the job on the 3/4 times I met him he came across like a normal sound bloke.

I'm sorry his treatment of Smith and Jones, the way he talks to national radio is completely unprofessional. The way he treated and spoke to Sykes, Whyte and others.
The way he spoke of Pekalski after a Plymouth game some time ago, was nothing more than bullying, again to the national press. The way he has thrown individuals under the bus in the past due to his inadequacies.
There are other examples, but this adds up to the characteristics of a bully, who tells all it is my way or the highway, not the caring football manager he professes to be.

The treatment of Jones was disgusting.

Jodi Jones best mates have made that pretty clear on Twitter since he left for Notts County…

That’s all I say!

From numerous experiences first hand, he is both. A right grumpy sound bloke!

I think his time is up and he needs to go but I feel you’re going over the top with his treatment of players. He‘s bombed a few out, big deal. If a footballer cant handle the cold shoulder when he’s under performing then I’m not sure, as a fan, i want him in my teams starting line up on a Saturday. The preciousness of a modern day player must do managers heads in.
You are right all managers bomb people out, but very few bomb players out that should still be in the squad.
In isolation in any one season a player may be bombed out but
Stevens,Jones,Taylor and have obviously upset him in one way or another and all of them should be in our match day squad and Findlay is exactly the sort of player we need right now to stay up

Bombing players out and leaving the squad short of players is ridiculous, the manager doesn’t have to be the players best mate to use them.

Everything he does goes wrong now anyway, only a few loons still want him here as it’s now completely obvious it’s run its course.

The senior players could get better results running it themselves than having Robinson in charge, if we can’t afford to bin him off and replace him the just tell him to stay away and appoint from within, anything is better than Robinson still being around the place.

Picking up on what others have said, having players as caretakers doesn’t cut it for me, certainly for any length of time.
If he goes then we need someone in quick.

But they’re not always available. As there aren’t anymore transfer windows and he was and should be sacked, then give it to Stevie Kinniburgh and Chris Hackett until the end of the season so as to give the club time to appoint the right man for the job.

I think you and I are going to have to answer the call and get those tracksuits on, unfortunately.

It’s the will of the people.

The players treatment has been quite shocking and actually has hurt the club. Every manager has the odd falling out but with KR it's a large % of the already small squad.
It's costing us points which is scandalous.
Losing the Head of Recruitment, Head of Academy, Having a potential quality Coach behind Short and LB-S in the pecking order who also leaves ( to get a great job in fairness) but he saw no future with us.
It's all a tale of woe . Robbo must go.

I think it's got as bad as it can get and he has to go, then we fall further and he's still here!

I don’t think the club need to rush into a permanent appointment. This squad, for all of its deficiencies, should have enough in it to stay up - so long as KR isn’t leading them.

I’d probably go with Hackett and SK in the first instance with a view to a route and branch review of the footballing structure, which will culminate in a full time appointment in the summer of a new first team manager and back room team along with a DOF.

In the meantime, we need to get our most mentally robust players playing and set up in a more resolute way.

Eastwood
Moore Findlay Brown
Long Fleming
CB Bate
McGuane
Wildschut Baldock

Bench: Goodrham, Fleming, McGinty, O’Donkor, Henry, Josh Johnson, Konate

Trying to set this squad up is difficult when you physically do not have a holding midfielder amongst them!

Murphy? He might as well stay at home.

The sad thing is that even if Robinson goes and a new man comes in the players are so poor that I can't see the new man making any difference.
