Good job I held off on my promotion bet. Might have to change my profile picture too

Does make sense to sell him now for a fee rather than letting him go on a free next summer, but you hope we have a replacement already lined up.

We absolutely have to go out and get a quality replacement now. We have received decent money for someone that would have walked away on a free next season. I'm gutted but it makes sense from a player and business perspective. Plenty of quality midfielders around although they have big shoes to fill. Bate and another quality midfielder now! No excuses!

Fook me. If Robinsons balls weren’t already being firmly squeezed, they’re currently in a vice.

This is a season defining moment, and KR simply HAS to get this right.

No crocks. No has-beens. No risks. You sign a player that is proven quality and you spend every single penny of that transfer fee on the squad!

Being ultra positive here...

We are very good at investing money. An extra £1m-£1.5m will allow us to bring in new talent that will be on long term contracts. CB was always likley to leave at some stage. Timing is awful, but we still have a month of the window left, and plenty of time to bring in replacements. It's bad news for Saturday, but a real opportunity for the season.
