It’s was the part that esb said sounds like a vendetta against the club, and came across as an excuse.

After rereading the first para I took it to mean that we were going to sign player X from a club, but then they pulled out after their player Y got injured. KR thinks that player X was never realistic cover for player Y.

The second para I think is just acknowledging that we don't have enough players and accepting the negativity this causes among the fanbase.

Nope, that's fluent KR, takes a while to get your head around it.

The first one I believe is 'we had agreed a loan for PL Club youngster, but their superstar forward has picked up an injury so PL Club youngster now needs to cover for him'


Second one... erm, nope, not a clue.
