And yes they should and why can’t they say that everyday if it’s deserved.
Believe it or not I will post positivity when it’s justified.

I am a tad concerned that the lack of a new face by now. I would like to think by the 16th July the Coventry PSF we will have at least 3 new faces.

Just hope we don’t do a January transfer window and wait until the last day of this window before we sign new faces as I think the moaning will be a dam sight more than it is now.

Looks like you're incapable of having a reasoned discussion about a clear lack of structure and accountability at the club.

It was clear from Robinsons second season that this was going to be a one man band kind of show and I'd hoped that Bakrie and Thohir would have had the intelligence to appoint a DOF already. This cult of Karl can only last so long and it's a shame so many of the fans have bought into it and only now is it starting to be questioned.

Marketing - poor, communication - poor, recruitment efficacy (I guess would be the word) - poor. Even if we do get the McNallys and Atkinsons right we should be aiming higher and closing deals earlier and not relying on Robinson to fanny around in Spain for a month on Zoom and Facetime. Look at what happened with Hanson - we spunked 400k up the wall and gave him one of the highest paid weekly contracts at the club for about 86 minutes of game time over 4 years and that was all down to Robinson pushing the deal over the line himself.

If this whole acting like a 'top 30' club crap being spouted is going to happen, it needs to be internally and not what we're doing in the transfer market. This wouldn't happen with any other manager at any other club and if that means he throws his toys out of his pram and walks, fine, at least we'd have a clear and logical hierarchy in place to build the club around. What I'd give to have Mark Ashton back in the building.

Jamie Hanson wasn’t a KR signing.

I do however agree, the club could benefit immensely from a Mark Ashton type. Our transfer dealings were highly effective during his tenure.

I don't actually think our transfers have been ineffective, given we have finished there or there about for the last three seasons. Our transfers have been pretty good. Every club has a Hanson etc or players that don't work out, particularly at our level where costs mean we simply can't do the type of scouting and analysis of potential signings that bigger clubs do. However, I think last season, even those with the most rose tinted glasses have to acknowledge our squad was poorly balanced and it remains to be seen if that will be addressed. I obviously hope it is. If it's not then as someone who has generally supported Robinson, I will be scratching my head.

KR gave a post-game interview a year or two back in which he made some comments about the Hanson signing not being one of his.

As well as publicly digging out Hanson in a rather undignified fashion, it also didn’t paint the club in a particularly helpful light publicly.

KR is often good at the PR side of things, but he dropped a ball on that one.

No thank you. We’ve got Matty Taylor, who has all the arrogance and shithousery that we need; as well as 20 goals a season.

I’d rather we went for someone young and hungry. Norwood doesn’t do it for me at all.
