I am currently on the fence. I can see how a change could potentially benefit the side short term but I don't trust Tiger to make the right appointment.

Long term I can see Robinson being a success at Oxford. There are very few managers who throw themselves into a club like Robinson has, where he actually cares about the club as a whole and wants the club to be successful. In a way I think Robinson is the right manager under the wrong owner.

I hope that if he does stay long term which is more than plausible, fans can stop dissecting every single word of his interviews after a defeat. That is probably getting more tiresome than some of our performances.

Maybe he should stop losing so many.. ?

But you’re right. It’s been interesting to see how the poll would go, but, as it seems he still has a lot of support amongst the fan base, everyone should get behind him during this difficult time. Which I guess was the correct course of action all along.

I’m not saying anything because I have a s**t track record. I remember arguing with people that talbot was ok because he admitted to and acknowledged the problems. Therefore I have no credibility in “Horton out” conversations. I’ll get me coat.

I think "Rix out" was the right call!. Stick with KR. There is no other logical alternative. He is not going to get sacked any time soon. Just stick together.

Two thirds say he should go so it’s a pretty clear vote that way. Not that it will matter, I highly doubt he is going anywhere at the moment, we ain’t paying anyone off.

For anyone saying they have no faith in Tiger, isn't it worth trying to make a change, a breath of fresh air, at the moment I'd say we're very likely to go down, instead of just accepting it, why not try something, even if Tiger makes another duff appointment and we go down, at least we will have tried and not have just accepted relegation

Horton was a funny one, fair to middling at best yet poached by Man City (for a fee, no less!).
Don't suppose Man City fancy taking Robinson off our hands?

On that point, cos this riles me too, the regular comments on OM whenever there is a comment from KR is "More b.s, less talk more action" type comments.

You know how interviews work right? He is literally being asked to say stuff, to talk. Admittedly, he's got a very flappy jaw and has talked piffle from time to time but the alternative is a club that doesn't speak in the press whatsoever. Then I imagine we'd be even more infuriated

Why is changing a manager more "trying" than just the existing manager doing the things he did in the portsmouth game more and the things he did in the AS game less?

There is no guarantees for either scenario. We'll just have to wait and see how it pans out.

Regardless of what happens for the rest of the season, for me KR shouldn’t be here in the summer. It’s just not worked, and even with his plethora of excuses, he’d struggle to deny that. Despite this, I’d still think we’d be better off sticking with him for the rest of the season*. I don’t think Faz/Derry/Allen would do much better with the unbalanced squad we’ve got, and I don’t trust Tiger to make the right appointment when he’s probably not even in the country.
*subject to change if he doesn’t play Mous as holding midfielder on Saturday

Regardless of the Tiger factor, he should go. His team selections and tactics are s***te and as has already been said, even the players are fed up to the back teeth with him.

This is the deciding factor for me. If the players are not happy then standards will drop. I can't imagine many are happy with the post match comments. Tactics are clearly not working and change is needed.
But, our owner is the unknown, will he sack him? Probably not.

I really am struggling with this, not least because recent experience of identifying a different manager by the Club. Nothing in the actions or inactions of the current Board give any confidence that lessons have been taken on board. I have been disappointed by KR’s performance this season after his good work dragging us out of the mess last season, not least the shambolic close season recruitment. There has been some bad luck with injuries, especially with Rob Hall’s situation. Gavin Whyte has been a breath of fresh air while Brannagan and Ruffels have offered improved performances. The touchline drama queen behaviour is tedious.
On balance I hope he is given at least until the end of the season but I’m not convinced he is the man to build a squad for next year, regardless of which league we are in.

That’s not come from me westyorkshire. In fact that’s the first I’ve heard about it!

Bowthaiger and his in the main invisible henchmen on the board are the biggest problem. They treat the supporters with contempt , mete out the mushroom treatment and add extra bullshit IMO.

If KR was to go 'now' who else feasibly could take up the reigns and avoid relegation this season?
A heavy root n branch pruning is required in the first team coaching set up in the close season I reckon, no
question its a must, for now albeit reluctantly, we are going to have KR as head coach until at least the end of the season, I sincerely hope there are 4 teams worse than we are come the end of the season
I say give Chris Allen a go can’t be any worse and he is highly respected
