Grenoble Road - New Parking Restrictions

What an a**e. Total pain for those of us getting the coach to away games.

the bloke is an absolute and utter greedywanker - hes totally going to fuckover visitors to the vue, bowlplex and other outlets there, all businesses he charges fairly substantial 'rent' too - no film or bowling game lasts 20 fuckingminutes -yet now he's shafting all the businesses on there. And absolutely ignoring disabled drivers lack of mobility as well

Perhaps now LRT coaches should now pick up from the closest P& R to the route they're taking to away games

Does it charge you after 20 minutes or do you get the 3 hours 20 minutes free and then have to pay?

Having reread it you can’t actually stay longer than the 3 hours which is terrible for the businesses there, take your kids to the cinema and you won’t have time to go to Frankie and Bennies etc. what’s the point of that big car park if it’s that limited?

So, you're going to the club shop, not on a match day, and you can only park for 20 minutes?? This is a retail outlet on the Kassam footprint paying rent to operate out of premises owned by Kassam yet, customers are not allowed to use the car park?? You couldn't make it up.

Presume they'll be tablets in tge businesses on site where you can put your reg in do they know you're using on of the businesses on site? That's commonplace.

Sounds to me they are setting that up to start charging once we are gone
Parking eye are one of the biggest f*****g robdogs there is- their 'sign in 'software tablets are notorious for fuckingup, which triggers months , sometimes years of threatening letters attempting to extort £ from car/ vehicle drivers ( who invariably have actually done nothing wrong- Parking eyes software is absolutely rubbish- probably intentionally)

My advice for anyone who does get "caught" by Parking Eye is simple - ignore any correspondence. They are not the council. They are only requesting payment, "court action" is just a bluff.

I've always wondered why kassam never charged to park there was/is there some reason why he can't

I thought there was a restriction on the land stating he couldn't charge for parking from the council? Is he charging or is he trying to deter people who park overnight?

Does this apply to club officials who park outside the south Stand or are they exempt?

Yes, that's how we understand it.
We'll be keeping an eye on how it affects our supporters, please let us know if you get caught out by it.
