New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

Yes it was noted. Think it was something like "you look at tonight and think it's all already here?"

Don't know wether he was being subjective but I get the sense that the RadOx team are all for the new stadium but need to be as neutral as possible as they are BBC employees.

I suspect that is why Jerome & co were so reticent to discuss the new stadium in phone ins after games before the elections.

Was anybody else a little surprised and disappointed at Nathan's question to Tim Williams on Saturday?
Something to the extent that the atmosphere and occasion was so good that isn't it a bit frustrating that we can't stay at the Kassam ( that was my understanding unless I misheard)
Er.....no.
The atmosphere at the new stadium will blow Saturday away ( no gaps in the corners or empty 4th stand- a stadium design to have a good atmosphere).
Also an additional 5k Oxfird supporters abke to be there and people will get thete an hour or more early to enjoy the atmosphere in comfortable surroundings and things to do@
i thought it a very naive question to ask. I'm sure his meaning was different but it came across like he was suggesting we could stay

Yeah Stratfield Brake was perfect.

But KPC decided they didn't want it because they are in bed with FoSB.

As for segregation, anything in the plans? @Billyox have you seen anything?
it has flexible away capacity 10% up to 15% i dont know how they do that but im sure it would of been designed so you dont lose any seating unlike the kassam where you lose a great big amount due to the design underneath to segregate plus we lose a load more because of the disabled vewing platform has people sat/stand in front of them tho i

A complaint about the Kassam was that it was to large (well Kassam went some way to rectify that) and that they could just relay games to different parts of the city on screens, Nimbys have been being nutters for a long time it seems.
Don't give FoSB any ideas!

It's not the stadium that made the atmosphere it was the fans. We could make the same at any ground even Kidlington FC 😜
I can see the FOSB headline now:

BREAKING NEWS: Oxford united plan to move into Kidlington FC football ground when current lease at Kassam Stadium expires. This is totally unacceptable

That would've been hilarious, Nimbys having hundreds and hundreds of people literally on there doorstep watching games on giant screens, and then pissing in their gardens!

Let's remember they could possibly kill the club but they won't kill the fans or the desire for these fans to watch live football in this county!

AFC Oxfordshire United (Middleton's suggestion) ground sharing at Kidlington FC and selling out every game. 🤣

Pick wisely CDC

I thought perhaps Nathan might have been teeing up the question, giving Tim Williams the opportunity to publicly state on radio the lease was up in 2 years.
