Probably what were gonna play when everyones back? Stevens still a weak link for me at RB dont think he does anything particularly amazing but neither does Long so its a toss up… id much prefer Murphy on the right but guessing our wingers can rotate. Still got the likes of Harris (needs a rest ), Goodrham , Bodin , Negru , Bennett on the bench8. Still expecting another winger and maybe another striker to push that side. Really hope we get Dobra. Need another CM as well, can’t watch too much more of mceachran.

Can we get all these juvenile gags out the way before he arrives? Otherwise it’s going to be a long second half of the season…

That’s if he does eventually arrive… it’s certainly not a case of Cumming too early…

Playing devil's advocate, whilst I'm pleased to see an extra body I'm also a little surprised by the general consensus of unbridled positivity around Burey.

Certainly doesn't follow a prefered model - players who've shown that they can consistently deliver over a large number of games at this level or below (i.e. Greg Leigh, Ruben Rodrigues).

Granted, it's only a loan, but even then I think I'd feel more comfortable with a teen of real pedigree (Stan Mills) rather than a 23 year old whose career trajectory looks, at best, shaky.

Objectively, this feels like a return to the days of rehabilitation and/or salvation. If this time last year we'd signed a young winger/wide forward with just 19 Football League starts to his name (in 6 years as a pro) I suspect they'd have been a few more raised eyebrows.

Of course, there is always a chance that this time we strike gold and provide the nurturing environment for this unfulfilled talent to succeed.

Let's hope so eh?
