General What's Happened to Leon Blackmore Such?

There are some really nasty arseholes on this forum KR was awful - then people on here got personal, and now LB - S is having the same treatment, you vile fuckers. Has LB -S really gone, can anyone state that he is gone, if he hasn't and he looks on this forum, well I hope you are ashamed of yourselves? Get behind LM and the lads. FFS.
Don't think any comments have warranted this response ?
Very odd ,a forum you possibly can't say anything about something directly linked to the Club....which this forum is about ?

Did a fantastic job coaching the youth team with Andy Whing and then Chris Hackett.
1st youth teams to actually win league’s for many years.
Good luck to LBS with his coaching in the future.
League 1 side with a under 21’s next would be my guess.

Wind your neck in, Chinnyboy

I think some posts have been deleted.
Words written by Mad Dog sadly.
I commented that I thought it was unprofessional to have such an overweight coach, as it doesn't set a very good example to the players, and that post was deleted by the powers that be.

It's something I've thought ever since he started coaching the first team, and i stand by my comment, and don't really understand what was so offensive about it.

It was far more than that as you know, and was completely unnecessary and called out by the vast majority on here.

Joey Barton was once made very unpopular for sharing your view about David Unsworth when linked with the Everton job. One of those opinions that will get people up in arms but some will quietly acknowledge that it might be detrimental to inspiring a group of elite athletes. Most will jump down your throat and tell you you’re discriminatory so wording might be key to the argument! For me, unless he’s the nutritionist then it has very little meaning and no reason he can’t be a successful coach one day.

I said I thought it was unprofessional to have a morbidly obese coach, as it sets a bad example to the players, which fair enough was probably OTT, as he's not actually THAT overweight, to be classed as morbidly obese, and I apologise to anyone who found that overly offensive.

Other than that, I said he stuffed his face at Burger King every day, which many others have said on many occasions, and haven't been crucified like this for it, and none of us even know if that's even true!

I think everyone's being a little overly delicate to be honest.

I am sure the players are professional enough to know that you need to be super fit athletes to play professional football, so the size of the coach is irrelevant.

This forum never amazes me with some of the vile crap that gets posted. I’m guessing everyone who is slagging off someone they don’t even know has a perfect life and has their s**t in order?!

Some posters who are all too willing to give out personal insults are the same ones that moaned when Robinson was nasty to some players and moan about the treatment of players such as Agyei!!

Yes, I quite agree that the "vile fuckers" on this forum have been too personal. Bunch of nasty arseholes eh?

For someone who doesn't like personal stuff a hell of a lot of your posts are absolutely slating other forum members with some pretty shitty language.

I know the original source for the sighting of LBS at Burger King, and there was never a suggestion it was every day. He was spotted there once, pre-game, in his Oxford gear while he was with the youth team.

I think what was once a tongue in cheek joke about him being a bigger lad, has now gone a bit over the top.

As others have said, if he's lost his job, it was very likely the right call, not because of his weight, or any trips to Burger King he may or may not have made, but because he just wasn't of the quality that Manning expects, let's let him leave with a bit of dignity, he isn't/wasn't the ultimate instigator of our dire situation, we have a Karl thread for that nightmare.

It could just be that the club are operating a one in, one out policy regarding coaches, not unlike the player recruitment in January.

Manning brings in his own assistant Chris Hogg, someone has to go?

It also looks as if Baldock will fulfil the Mousiniho role until his contract runs out. Ditto Henry as his playing time appears to be decreasing fairly rapidly.

However having said that, I see L S-B is still listed as First Team Coach on the official club site.

Poor communications from the club, where there’s a vacuum rumours will inevitably persist.

I'm sure LBS is still at the club but based in the stands at games due to the limited number of coaches that can be on the bench. He was certainly there against Sheffield Wednesday.

When Manning arrived it was confirmed that no changes to the backroom teams would take place immediately, and I doubt that we'll hear anything formally until the end of the season. My gut feeling is that Shorty will remain involved and LBS and Wayne Brown will be replaced, with LBS either dropping back into the youth groups or going elsewhere.

Personally, I don't think that every unanswered question justifies rumours to fill the vacuum, especially when they become increasingly personal.

There's loads of hypocrisy on here, look at the meltdown some have when mental health is mentioned. There was some mention of Murphy having had some issues but most of the forum don't give a toss if he's not performing - and that includes some (who shall remain nameless) who jump down the throats of others who have merely questioned the effects of mental health when it's been discussed randomly on here.
