General Aid for the EFL?

Apparently according to NMW the EFL are investigating what the games against Crewe were called off, now let’s see if they’ve got any B*****s

I wouldnt hold my breath on that.... those with any semblance of decision making were gelded years and years ago

so what exactly does Rick Parry do? ...cant remember there being a Rick Parry FC in the EFL?
he is the representative chairman. but he has no real power, any changes go to club (ie owner) votes.

Probably been discussed already but despite the Premier league being a hateful thing I'm no clearer why its them that has to fund the lower leagues. Seems to just be because they have more money.

They don't. The only people responsible for EFL spending are the EFL chairman who could enforced a salary cap if they wanted or save a war chest. instead they spunk the money on players they cannot afford.

I wish leagues 1 and 2 had held out until 5.01pm tomorrow before trying to stick up for the championship. Their spending is out of control just as much as the premier league but without the revenue. They made their stance of where they see themselves as a league by refusing a wage cap like 48 other clubs did. Don’t turn the chance to try and help get your house in order on 1 hand and then cry poverty on the other!

Is the rejection based around the lack of moneyfor the Championship or something more fundamental?
My reading initially was that this was a basic starting point to underpin L1 and L2 imeediately, then mvoe on to something else for the Championship in due course, rather than it being nothing for the Championship at any stage?

Bailing out clubs and people sets a worrying president that clubs can be spend thrift without consequences.
Are you Bazzer in disguise? Makes no sense if taken literally but apply the Bazzer filter and we know what you mean

I can't see how this is in anyway a good idea unless you literally don't have the cash. I hope Oxford don't do this.

I'm not sure about a complete stop on transfers but do agree that there has to be done restrictions placed on clubs looking for emergency loans. If you're struggling to pay the players or staff that you have, you shouldn't be looking to bring in more.

The exception should be a club that sells a player to bring in much needed income should then be able to bring in a replacement.

I think that the restructuring of the EFL in accordance with Premeirshite instructions soon, Ox4d will be relegated to national league status as they will still be 9 points adrift at the bottom of L1 with 6 or 7 games in hand. Prem will not want to fund the Ka$$Ham money pit.

Anything better than that will be a bonus.....

Anybody heard recently about the pl 1.5 billion cash reserves? No I thought not!

Its also a pity the premiership players havent said much, plenty of them have come through the ranks.

If the clubs said they would no longer provide balanced, nutritious meals on days when they weren't actually playing, maybe Marcus Rashford could sort something out.....

Marcus Rashford wouldn’t sort it but he could pressure others to pay
