Summer19 Fun Quiz thread

I thought we all needed a fun thread to take our minds off the stress, and angst of the transfer market/pre-season friendlies - so this is to revive a thread that got us through previous summers.....

Basically, any sort of question goes - name a player, name a club, list questions or whatever - Yes/No questions only or free-for-all firing answers - but basically stick to one question at a time and the person who provides teh correct answer sets the next question,

Anyway, to set you all off - name the first ten clubs to win the top flight of the English League (Clue: 1st 5 were pre-1900, 2nd 5 were pre-WW1)

Preston North End, Everton, Sunderland, Aston Villa, Sheffield United, Liverpool, The Wednesday ( who would transmorph into Sheffield Wednesday), Newcastle United, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers

Between 1882 and 1915 Villa won the football league/ first division title 6 times, Sunderland won it 5 times, Newcastle won it 3 times, Man Utd, PNE, Blackburn, Everton, Liverpool & 'Wednesday all won it twice, only Sheffield Utd had just the one win

Next Question - What was the date and result of the first league meeting of OUFC V Sw*nd*n ?

credit to me Dad to be honest , popped round to see him ... loves his early football trivia, bless him... he gave me the answer(s )

he doesnt have internet access , if he did he wouldnt have any idea how to use it
