Ex Player Sonny Perkins

Has a good goalscoring record at England youth level, and apparently turned down a pro contract at West Ham before moving to Leeds. Sounds promising. Welcome aboard young man and looking forward to seeing you hit the back of the net for the Yellows!

Little known fact, his family are of Italian descent - the Perkinsatore Family of Calabria.

They dropped the 'atore' in order to Anglicise and assimilate into the East London population.

Sonny himself was named after his Great-Grandfather Santino Perkinsatore.

Below is a photo of him in his favourite bar in Ilford.

My thoughts too. Hopefully we are still in for an older striker with more professional games under his belt, but as it seems like Perkins can play across the front 3, the fact he can play up top as well as filling in for Browne on the left may brought some urgency to getting this one over the line.
