Yeah. This might be a time when the club consider sailing close to the wind on GDPR and emailing their entire contact list about the survey rather than just people opted into 'marketing'. That database is likely in the tens of thousands of folk who like the club but aren't regulars. Given the stakes even a fine and telling off from the regulator might be worth it.
they could send out an invite to tonights Stadium exhibition to the entire database using the OWS link- which has a link to the survey

Considering the maximum fine under GDPR rules is £17Mill (or 4% of global turnover, whichever is the larger), it might not be...

Get it. In reality no one in the UK has been fined more than a few grand for sending a first offence 'grey area' email. All the big fines have been for blatant and ongoing commercial breaches or crappy cybersecurity. This wouldn't be commercial marketing (disallowed) but likely not strictly 'administrative' (permitted) either. Of course you're right though - not worth the risks. Frustrating. We'll continue to pay for mistakes in the past where swathes of potential 'light touch' marketing contacts from cup runs etc. were squandered.

Would be a massive own goal reputationally which the opposition would jump on too, at a time of public engagement.

I'm very surprised that the club are not coming out and stressing the importance of this survey. Apathy towards this project will kill the club.

Me, Mrs Wallop and Junior Wallop have completed the survey but none of us have received emails to verify the submission - have others received one?

I've asked a couple of Dutch mates to fill the survey in. They have both been to the breeze block, one several times. Told them to be honest with their personal details.

KPC finally dropped any pretence of neutrality over the stadium proposal and publicly stated their objection.

So what!

We've spent too much time and energy arguing with those that were never going to support the stadium and not enough in getting those who do support the stadium to engage with the process.

If you haven't already done so then please complete the survey, get your friends and family to also complete it and tell them why this will be amazing. Share it on social media, share it with fans of other clubs. Despite all the talk of football fans fighting each other, we're generally one big, happy (if slightly dysfunctional) family and football fans around the country know how difficult it is to get these things approved.

We have the power and opportunity to demonstrate overwhelming support for this proposal and we must make this happen.

I have asked probably around 20 people to complete the survey- local and international, Oxford supporters and not oufc supporters.
There are huge benefits to the area whether an oufc supporters or not. Young people especially will benefit.
I think that all of us who want a new ground need to get everybody we know who could be positive to complete this survey

Just one thing to add, OCC have made it absolutely clear that no weighting will be given to the location of those who complete the survey. They understand that this is a countywide and countrywide asset.

So thank you @Foley and others for sharing this far and wide. Every view is valid, and every positive response is one small step towards us building our own future.

However, by only holding surgeries to help people complete the consultation in Kidlington and Cutteslowe (plus one on the Westgate), OCC are making it much easier for those in these more "anti" areas to respond. This is absolutely likely to influence the outcome.
We raised this and received the following reply:

"we are happy to provide practical support to anyone who needs help with completing the survey.
Please could you let those who may need additional support know that they can request printed copies of the information provided by the club by emailing us at stadium@oxfordshire.gov.uk or calling our customer services team on 01865 816000."

No surprise predominantly middle class councillors are prioritising predominately class areas. Understand Kidlington but not Cutteslowe, that's probably because Cllr Gant is a fellow LibDem. I have no doubt the council are trying to find the excuse they need to reject the stadium proposals and more negative responses will be just that.

We must complete the survey and share with family, friends and colleagues.

If anyone here wants some help from OCC, here are the next dates
