International News Foching hell bells

Good decision for me. I suggest they should move to the city if they don't like it.

The Court should suggest that compensation will be awarded to the farmer for harassment if they appeal again as they are threatening.

Near us there's an animal rescue centre called The Ark. It's been there for years and is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, with only a couple of houses within sight.

Recently a couple from out of the area bought one of those houses and immediately started complaining about dogs barking. Dogs in a rescue centre that has existed for years. The Ark, already struggling for funds, is now having to raise thousands to defend themselves in court against these newcomers' legal action.

Madness.

Hopefully, costs are awarded against the newcomers when they lose.

It's very similar when you think about it to the people in Headington who used to complain about a football stadium that was near there house, and had been for about 100 years...
Yes and those same people then complained about the new flats and hospital being built and the resulting traffic ?

People who buy a house next to a church and then complain about the bells being rung for Sunday service. Having been rung for hundreds of years. Nearly always a country church and the those doing the complaining usually from the city.

For me, that would be just part of the soundtrack of the place I'm living in like the sound of Red Kites are around here. It would be weird if they didn't ring the bell imo.

I don’t like Kassam much. Can he please stop charging the club so much rent

Several dog owners each year are trampled by cows (they're big buggers when you get up close). I'd bet nearly all those cases result from unrestrained dogs harassing cows with calves. Cows protect calves, owners try to retrieve dogs, owners get trampled. Very avoidable if dog owners used their brains.

Indeed. Our dog was good off the lead and never bothered about cows although we always gave them a very wide berth (which is the obvious thing to do), he did have a thing about chasing Seagulls when on the beach though. He did one time go after a Herdwick Sheep though, the Sheep turned and deservedly headbutted him so all we saw was a Cocker Spaniel running in the opposite direction which in hindsight was amusing. He never bothered any Sheep again.
