National News Family/friends worries?

I appreciate things may change over the next days, weeks and months, but for me personally at the moment If I didn’t have access to social media and news outlets I’d barely notice that anything was amiss.

It’s almost like living in two separate worlds.

In Ireland the Iceland chain have , as from today, introduced first hour of their opening hours daily for senior citizens to shop.... be a good move if ALL UK supermarket chains adopted a similar policy?

It should be compulsory under normal times too. Apart from my old man, every retired person still gets up at six in the morning and walks to get a paper. Then decides to dodder around the town centre M&S during lunch hour.
