5 of us are not renewing END OFNo to all of it
When did this get accepted as fact?
I'm curious - @Leysboy (and others) were widely ridiculed for suggesting players had given up on the manager a few weeks back (when the situation on pitch was less problematic and those doing the ridiculing were still promoting a togetherness).
But now that the manager is really up against it and we can all see further drop in performance, these very same intimations are now accepted at face value - by the same people who ridiculed and dismissed them previously.
It looks like they've now become a useful deflection to any criticism of the manager...

What like Nathan Jones has done at Charlton? Clueless if you think Des can be successful here. The players think he is clueless as do majority of fans.Des needs three things:
1. More time
2. More money
3. More respect
The Des bashers can go and support Knobinson's Salford City if they miss his style of management so much. They've got absolutely no clue when it comes to football management - some of us who have managed football teams know how hard it is to come on board and deliver immediate change.
5 of us are not renewing END OF
Where in my post does it say I’m not supporting OUFC I said 5 of us will not be renewing our season tickets and I personally will be picking my games be it 15 games or 2 games that will be my choice throughout the seasonI’m sorry but I just don’t get this kind of attitude. Fair play, if financially you cannot afford to renew or if other commitments mean that you will not get to enough games to
make it financially viable.
However, this ultimatum style “you’d best make a change, or else” attitude is something that I struggle to get on board with. Do you honestly think the club are going to take any notice of Joshua on an online forum?
Ultimately, you’ll either decide to support Oxford United FC or you won’t. If you do then great. If you don’t and it’s purely down to who the manager is, then I think that is more reflective of you and your other 4, rather than the club trying to show some loyalty and support to the man in charge. All about opinions I guess.
I think you'll find that Leysboy was (laregely) ridiculed for not naming the players, but continuously banging on about it.When did this get accepted as fact?

No, i think that if you trawl back through various matchday threads, dating back to last calendar year, people were questioning the contributions of MM and RR in particular.
Can you tell me the last (positively) influential game that either MM or RR had? Is there down turn in form all on the Manager? IMON it would be incredibly naïve to think it was.

He got ridiculed for not naming the players.
He has since named the 3 players and with that, those 3 players will get rightly dogs abuse for showing so much disrespect to the club.
Some fan bases would be booing these 3 everytime they touched the ball on Saturday but I can’t see that happening with out fans.
Unless @Leysboy now wants to say he made a mistake and they haven’t down tools then surely we take it as the truth because why else would someone openly name the players?
Apparently they have been from what @Leysboy said. Are they downing tools in training too, as they're still getting selected which would seem very odd practice by Des.
That's how I see it too. There's too much at stake for the SMT at the moment. If by some chance they do get rid before the end of the season (or even in the summer), then maybe the board should also take action over the SMT's serious lack of judgement or competence at running a football club, and they should be following him out of the door too.Logically, if we don't win tomorrow you'd think time is almost up.
However, there's no way Des gets sacked. We could lose every game remaining an he still wouldn't. The owners have put too much on the line.
We (reportedly) spent more bringing Des in than we've paid for any player ever. He doesn't go after 5 months.

So you’re speaking to the players are you? You’re an ITK it that because a mate of yours knows a postman who delivers post to someone’s great granny who gets her pension from the same post office as a granny of one of the under 10’s.What like Nathan Jones has done at Charlton? Mind you, by the summer that could happen anyway if we don't get PP for the new stadium. We should know by mid June and I can't see them hanging around long if the dream of a new ground dies.
An awful lot on the line if we get relegated to lg 2 - think we got a handsome comp from BC which more than covered the Des exit but that doesn't mean letting him go can't be part of the equation.Logically, if we don't win tomorrow you'd think time is almost up.
