I seem to recall this happening pre Covid. It might be to do with the playoffs?Why is league one done and dusted before the other two EFL leagues

Probably because Wembley cannot handle 3 finals in 1 weekend. That, plus L1 knows what it is to play more than 1 game a week.Why is league one done and dusted before the other two EFL leagues
