My friend and Oxford fan for 50 years, Barrie Carlisle, passed away a couple of weeks ago. He attended every game, home and away and stewarded on the away coaches for a period if time. Not sure if anyone on the forum knew him but I thought I'd put it out there. His funeral is on 29 Nov at the Crem.

A lovely man! I wasn't aware of this sad news and I looked out for him on the coaches on Saturday.

I saw his obituary in tonight’s programme, I didn’t know Barrie personally but I have seen him on away coaches and at lots of games. Always a very friendly chap.

Barrie had a good send off today at his funeral. A few United scares and Mick Brown from the club was in attendance. He'll be much missed.
