Hey all.

First time going to the Kassam tomorrow and was looking for some info.

I originally planned on getting the train from Reading to Oxford and then catching a 1 or 5 from the City centre to Knights Road but this timetable https://www.oxfordbus.co.uk/services/SCOX/1?date=2023-04-07&direction=outbound&all=on would suggest it only goes as far as Sandy Lane West.

Is this correct or does it go all the way which the official website https://www.oufc.co.uk/tickets/getting-here/ suggests; if it goes all the way will I make it in time for kick off if I catch one just gone 2pm?

With the train services severely disrupted I am now going to catch the X40 from Reading town centre.

Should I carry onto Westgate and catch a 1/5 or get off at Littlemore, The George or Rose Hill and walk from there?

Thanks.

get off at knights rd and walk through 5-7 mins getting a bus at 2 pm from town / railway station you should make kick off with a few mins to spare

The X40 only stops at the George (Littlemore) at night.

Best bet would be get off just after Rose Hill roundabout. Cross the road and wait for the City 3A bus that drops you right out side the kassam stadium on grenoble Road.

Can do the same on the return.

Any idea how frequently they run on match day because it looks like it's only every hour according to this https://www.oxfordbus.co.uk/services/OXBC/3A?date=2023-04-07&direction=outbound&all=on

Get Reading to didcot which goes every ten minutes. Then get bus I think is five to every hour to oxford station. Then bus to bbl

I think the 3A is every hour even on matchdays. Most fans walk from Rosehill through Littlemore under the railway line into the back of the overflow carpark to the stadium. Its probably a 20 minute walk.

The other option is carry on to the city centre and get the number 5 to knights Road and its a 5 minute walk to the stadium from there.

Think I might go for the first option.

Thanks again.

Get the blackbird leys bus from town, it’s the most frequent service, when you get see the blackbird pub get off it then cross the road by the shops and follow people to the stadium through the estate, it’s a quick walk.

It’s a trek enough getting to our ground using public transport normally (do it occasionally) but I wouldn’t do it while the trains only run as far as Didcot and you have to get two buses, either drive or find another game unless you are really keen.

If you’re on the X40 get off at the new houses just before Heyford Hill roundabout and use your phone to navigate past Sainsbury’s and through Littlemore to the ground, it’s only about a 20 minute walk.
