Its bonkers that a club who averages 18k at home should have to have the same wage bill as one with 3k. What are they supposed to do with the profits they make if they cant pay it to get better players? The cap should be a % of income..

With the way we set up I'm not sure how Taylor will score. He isn't going to head the crosses in - he needs a big man to knock them down. The central attacking midfielders don't seem to be looking to slide the ball through to him. For him to be successful KR will need a rethink on tactics...

1983/4 ish we were away at Barnsley (I think) which was called off. We headed to Mansfield as Mick Vintner had moved to them. That was also called off. Spent the afternoon in Mansfield pubs. The only 2 games in the country called off that day! I think the London Road coaches headed to Sheffield...

I love the way OUFC's football plod has no idea what Oxford city centre plod are doing / saying!

Went to all 3 games also. I think one of the London Road coaches had its window put in on the way out of Sheffield after the night game. Does anyone else remember that or am I confused with another time?

Completely agree with that Sarge - he was the catalyst - but was allowed to do it. If I am driving along a street and see a parking space with no double yellow lines and park there I might cause an obstruction by doing so but have broken no law. Clearly he could have acted a lot more sensibly...

PC956 it is hard to tell from your posts when you or TVP are accountable for your actions, and at when you are simply more hired hands in high viz jackets working for OUFC. I guess it will need a Hillsborough type crush and the ramifications of that, and then you appearing in court 25 years later before you accept any criticism...Lets just blame someone else shall we rather than actually be concerned about public safety...
