Dot Counting Stevenage Crowd - Sell Out?

Attendance tracking
It’s starting to get scary!

I think we deserve to be in the play-offs because we’ve virtually been in them all season, but it’s where you end up at the end of the season that matters🤞⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

Until you have played every other team home and away it’s a form table, you finish where you deserve to after 46 games. I blame that nonsense season that stopped short and was decided on ppg, if you haven’t played everyone twice then you don’t deserve anything.

No excuses now for Peterborough not to sell out.

Agree.

On a plus note our average home attendance for this season stands at 8934 with 3 huge home games to come this should push over 9k. Last time we had a 9k average was 1992/1993 in the first division.

We can take over 30k to Wembley so why can't some of these come down the Kassam for the next 3 games and fill it?

No more excuses !

Peterborough is our last Saturday 3pm kick off of the season, a relatively local opposition - and an absolutely crucial game that could be a huge step towards securing a playoff finish.

We need to be out in our numbers and a crowd of 11k should be the aim.

Shame, seems a perfect opportunity to fill the ground for 3 games
It’s a tough call, should we be filling the ground out with the 3 biggest games of the season? Yes I think we should.
Having said that, going to football isn’t cheap and we have 3 home games in 7 days with 1 of them on TV and another one on a Tuesday night so can people really give up that much time in such a short space of time let alone afford it?
Maybe 3 games for £60/50 quid could have been a good idea but then what do you do about all the tickets that have already been sold?

I expect this is the crux of the matter.

There’ll be a lot of people who already have tickets for one, two or all three games and administering returns/refunds/re-payments by Saturday would be nigh on impossible, I expect.

We really shouldn't need to look at deals to get people in for these games. Our only playoff campaigns on the football league both came during covid so there was little opportunity to really get behind them in numbers.

We now have a maximum of 4 home games, and we really shouldn't need to be looking at deals to get people involved.

We all have a great opportunity to bring a mate, a neighbour, people from work etc to one or more of these games. And while we're at it, get them to complete positive feedback on the planning portal too.

I’m not sure that offering deals for the final 3 would make any commercial sense at all.

We should be filing the ground at full price, with people that want to be there to see us reach the play offs and get behind the football club.

Save the deals for when we play the tin pot northern sides in mid winter.

It looks as if the club have advertised that tickets are available and their SM post references all three games with no deals attributed. Glad to see it.

£6,000,000 losses this year, some want to pay off the existing manager and some want a ticket deal to the crucial final 3 instead of paying full price. Can’t make it up.

Get there if you can.

People will jump on the bandwagon if we get into the play offs or a wembley final. It's time for these to come out and fill the Kassam, no incentive needed from the club.

Totally agree.
3 massive games- there should be no reason to give discounts.

Back of a fag packet maths we take about 30k/40k+ to Wembley.

They aren`t all going to fit in the Kassam without some sort of rota.

They aren`t all "bandwagon jumpers" they might have been to ten games or one and on the day they are supporters same as all of us.

As has been alluded to 3 games in 7 days, one midweek, one on telly is a hefty drain on peoples time and finances.

Remember the likes of Scotchers whilst wanting to "fill the ground" also keep whining there is a "cost of living crisis".....can`t have it both ways,

I feel like Saturday should be 10,000+ ( would be nice if it was a sell out ) but the other two games one being mid week the other on the box it will be tough but then if we are fighting with Lincoln you'd expect them to bring a few so could have 9500 - 10,000 . Stevenage I dunno they won't bring many fans so that won't help with overall attendance it's Friday night no school the next day so I dunno what to expect 🤣🤣

If you can can only get to/afford one game it will probably be Peterborough or Lincoln you plump for, if you can do two it will be Peterborough and Lincoln, as why wait to go to a Stevenage game that if we lose the two others it most likely be over, plus Stevenage is on TV so you can still watch it anyway. I expect better crowds for the first two with a smaller home crowd plus very few away fans for the Stevenage game.
