That second goal is 100% Cummings fault in every respect. He’s facing the play, he can use his hands and his feet, he has to come and claim it and clean everyone out - Leigh included - in the process. Pathetically weak and cowardly goalkeeping.
 
Cumming - kicking awful.
Rodriguez, Murphy and Brannagan all poor.
Moore the only one who can say he’s had a reasonable half.
Oh for a manager like Evatt - likes quick, neat sometimes inventive passing and uses width well.
 
I may have jinxed it the other day when I said no one has actually battered us like Lincoln did to Barnsley at the weekend…
 
Yeah maybe the worst half of the season that. Don't look up for it at all, look scared of Bolton and unsure what they're supposed to be doing.

This long ball to Leigh and pick up the pieces hasn't really helped, but appreciate we're lacking in options as Moore and Brown as poor with the ball at their feet (Brown especially so) and Brannagan and McGuane offer nothing as an out ball.
 
Whoever’s in charge should walk into the changing room, sack Des, then go upstairs and grab Michael Appleton and get him in to do the halftime teamtalk and take over for the rest of the season

Don't bother we couldn't score an open goal can't believe we got it to their box only to play it back to ours Des has got to go gone from 2nd to the oblivion
 
Men against boys. Not one single redeeming feature about that half, if I could sub all 11 of them I would.
Rubbish!
 
Totally timid and at times inept.

So far, our 'turning of the corner' includes a good performance ultimately resulting in defeat at Portsmouth, a poor showing at home to Cheltenham in late win and now first half submission at Bolton.

There is little cohesion or connect. It's dogsh*t poor.

We have to get up the pitch, push the full backs on and start passing the ball with purpose. Buckingham needs to give them a rocket, but he probably needs one himself.
 
How long has Des got?

That was shocking and embarrassing. As weak as P**s all over the pitch. Second to everything.

No way are these players being coached properly. Looks like they’re not playing for Buckingham in my view.

The scoreline could get very ugly.
 
This is Embarrassing by far the worst half from us all season, and there’s been some very bad ones.
 
What’s the plan today then?

I can’t believe you can assemble that group of players who were once going places like Derby and Barnsley causing havoc and turning in THAT performance. Bolton were kind to us there and came off the gas. Thank god.

If this turns in to a drubbing he needs to go. For this to be the result of 6 months in the job is pathetic. I’ve seen that better can be done and I want it back.
 
Can’t say I’m surprised by the score line. Saw this result coming a long away, like most of us.
 
The lack of movement off the ball is painful, everytime someone gets the ball, all of the movement is behind them, we go back, they press, we lose the ball, it's so easy
 
Boring Boring Oxford! Sorry but that was an awful half again. No urgency or any kind of fight in midfield. Luckily we are only 2-0 down.
