If we're gonna fail to sign a defensive midfielder and concede every game might as well have one more up top and do without Rodrigues. We wanders around in the 10 position man marked, rather have Goodwin and Harris linking upfront and playing more direct.

Under Manning RR was constantly buzzing around and we were pinging passes into him from the centre backs through the lines. Hes lethargic under Des and there's no plan to pass through the lines out of defense either.

Tactically miles off Mannings start to the season, tragically.

Not saying I agree (because I think Goodwin will turn out to be good business). But Matete has been pretty much pointless so far too! 😉
 
I'm pretty certain Stevens is bobbins, but Dale is giving him absolutely nothing in terms of cover right now.
 
It's a bit of your problem when the defence can't defend very well, the midfield rarely win or even retain the ball and the forwards (however good they may or may not be) get the ball in a decent position so rarely that the chances of them doing much are vanishingly small. This match is a complete non-contest at the moment.
 
The game just passes MM by. Runs around at half speed near but not quite at the ball. He’s been awful since October, a slow but steady regression of a really talented player
