Having worked in and around a few clubs over the last 6 years and met and spoken to a wide range of people within the game then I’m pretty confident of my statement.Again, I'll wait for Chromyellow to ask you to provide evidence of such claims.
I'm not doubting you, I'm sure Joey is confident of his statement too.Having worked in and around a few clubs over the last 6 years and met and spoken to a wide range of people within the game then I’m pretty confident of my statement.
Interesting insight, from which everyone can make a decision whether to believe it or not.
But Chromeyellow won't ask you for proof of those equally unfounded claims. I wonder why?
But loads of people have heard this. I've heard this (although I hadn't mentioned it until now). Do you think anyone who hears stuff that is negative about the club should bite their tongue if they can't legitimise it beyond being told by someone they have reason to trust? This isn't a propaganda vehicle, it's a fans forum. It's dangerous game trying silence dissenting voices for the sole reason of them not fitting a certain agenda. The example being the comments about Buckingham losing the dressing room. I wouldn't expect someone to screenshot a players WhatsApp group or name individuals, but I don't think it's unreasonable for these comments to provide something to legitimise them.

I don't think 100% effort on the pitch serves as evidence that the players are happy. Anyone who watched us at the end of KR's reign should know that. The players gave everything against Bristol Rovers, then minutes later Robinson's right-hand man went on local radio and distanced himself and the squad from him.I'm not suggesting that anyone should silence anything. But it is equally dangerous to share things without any scrutiny whatsoever.
If we're talking about losing the dressing room, as an example, then someone could give examples of what that looks like without sharing private conversations. For example, "senior players are fed up with how they're being asked to play, look at the body language of x and y". Because at the moment, most people would look at recent performances, even where we've lost, and still see that players appear to be giving 100%.
So if there is something very wrong, and potentially impacting our results, then back that with more than a headline.

I don't really want to talk about this as it's unfair on Des, which is why I hadn't said anything before, but I'm very surprised that you haven't heard about some issues if you're as close to the club as you'd have some believe.
Scrutiny is healthy, I agree, but the nature of football rumours is that they are pretty much impossible to prove so demanding evidence only when a dissenting view is presented isn't.
I think we are all pretty concerned about the performances at the moment aren't we? Isn't that the context of how issues might be affecting things? I agree that in that it would be weird if people were mentioning this stuff if we had maintained the levels and results as under Manning, but we haven't.I agree that professional players will often still give everything on the pitch, which is why it is helpful if there are wider concerns that people share some of the context of how this is rather than simply saying that there is a problem. That way, others who haven't heard things first hand can be aware of issues too. I'm not saying that there needs 'evidence' and would not expect anyone to breach confidences.
I'm getting increasingly confused by this thread. No idea what has or hasn't been happening!
Any chance we can close this thread now, which has become increasingly strange. For those that can't let it go, here are a few phrases for you to use... clueless... hopeless...rabbit in headlights...out of his depth...PE teacher...tired...no contacts...Mickey Mouse League. And so on.
Yes it shows he cares, previously we thought he wasn't bothered. He's shown he isn't out of his depth now as he got booked last night so we can scratch that off the list.

Why is offering people a pay-cut “complete incompetence”?That one candidate approached didn’t want to to relocate because of a young family has been mentioned by several people and seems a completely normal reason for a someone to turn a job down.
I think that Spreading gossip without evidence of complete incompetence by the club is a rather different matter.
It seems @tatabanya may not understand the difference.
Why is offering people a pay-cut “complete incompetence”?
Also why don’t you want evidence of the candidate not wanting to relocate?
And the mask slipsWhy is Tatabanya behaving like a 4 year old?
Don't you have anything better to do? I'm afraid i do...Have a nice day.
