I feel we’ve turned a slight corner recently with the Exeter win, the second half at Peterborough, and the fight shown at Portsmouth, where we also defended much better.
If we can keep 11 players on the pitch, then maybe we can get something out of this game.
So based on that I’ll go 0-1 from an unlikely scorer.
I'd agree with that and in isolation/in previous seasons these signs of things belatedly beginning to come together would be enough to bring some optimism to the camp.

However, I just hope that the high degree of background noise this time around doesn't interfere with that, cos whoever we finish the season with being manager, some momentum and points now wouldn't go amiss

2-1 Bolton.

Lots of fight and effort but that doesn’t mask that we’re just now very good - which isn’t good enough bearing in mind the budget and league position.

I hope for better but in the likely event we do lose, let’s hope it leads to what many of us would prefer to occur …

A mixture of injuries, suspensions and muddled thinking from KR results in an unexpected starting XI.

The gamble doesn’t payoff and we lose 4-0.

I am bored of listening to the bad referee excuse. The trouble is we are living off scraps. If we were playing well we would be creating and scoring enough to overcome the odd referee error. Fingers crossed but with little confidence.

PLAYED FOR BOTH

Includes Yanic Wildschut, James Henry, Jake Wright, Hugh Curran, Jimmy Phillips,
Trevor Hebberd, Neil Whatmore and Sam Ricketts.

Wildschut has never played for us.

Don’t see us scoring many today, so with that in mind, another 1-1 draw?

Two scenarios:

2:0 defeat - Karl blames the touchline ban for preventing him from getting his messages across to the team but states several times that he will protect his coaching staff…

2:1 win - Karl says that fortunately the touchline ban didn’t prevent him from getting his messages across but states several times that he refuses to take all the credit for the win…

We've really got our mojo back in the last few games. While it was pushing it to say we were unlucky to lose or draw earlier in the season, we really have been unlucky in the last few games. It's great to see Robinson back on top, and I think we will gradually sneak up the table before Baldock, Murphy, and Wildschut return for us in the new year, and we storm league one in 2023 to either sneak into the playoffs (or just miss out). Either way, it will be a successful season.

Thing I'm worried about is have we got eleven to start
