I think the only person other than the mk Dons fans/staff happy with that result is Robinson after all he couldn't praise them enough this morning in the paper

I'm so happy next week is P-P otherwise I think I would have had to wash my hair instead of going to watch the shower of s**t as someone else said it wasn't even a surprise we lost its just crap

I’m sorry you see it that way, because believe it or not. It’s definitely not gloating! I just saw hints of certain individuals not being bothered on the pitch, and not putting there usual reliable shift you’d expect from a professional footballer.

If I am a painful read you can put me on ignore, I won’t lose any sleep over it. I’m entitled to my opinion and views just like yourself Mr Otto.

Good point. Done.

i imagine others will follow suit and you’ll get less visibility for your self indulgent narcissism

Tactics were poor ....was there a dressingroom sweepstake on how many times easty would be passed to?.... sideways and backwards isnt achieving abything

If (big IF) any one of those 3 chances at 0-0 goes in its a different game and result

Played okayish first 10 mins & after bate n goodrham - and to a lesser degree GO'D on for less time - came on

Couldve, shouldve won today ..... luck seems to have deserted Oxford utd currently

What a load of utter shite from Robinson in that interview. Delusional and embarrassing. I don’t want a representative of my club spouting that shite. I do hope someone is actually in charge and is listening to that. If there is they must surely have a plan - time to get rid.

I woke up this morning with no interest in going to the football at all. I didn't fight the feeling.

You've got a problem when your paid customers aren't interested.
That is exactly how I felt. My interest has been declining since last January and it has finally translated into missing the last two home games.

kr's ramblings and diatribe for today

cant keep missing all the chances we are creating
players gave everything running around in both halves
I don't know...…..
Complains about the referee walking too slow
I have to stand here as a shield as a manager
Am I nervous....no
I know what we need to do
A lot of good things going on
Asked if he was a fan how would he feel? "I would feel unlucky, when players come back, bla bla"
Players have done everything asked of them
These players are playing well
MK are rejoicing being on the same points as us, shows how expectations are different
We play a system that we didn't recruit for.
I could tell you about missing players what we could do....but I am here to protect my players
I want to talk to you, but we are in pain
Players came in with injuries, but hindsight is a great thing
The next two weeks are going to hurt.
if we had a game on Tuesday I would be speaking to you on the front foot.
The situation isn't hard, being a manager is being hard.
(We will be a different side when the players come back, repeated countless times)

Asked if he was going to have to report back to the board - "We have an open relationship with each other."

I called it a while ago mate, KR has lost the dressing room. I could see it, and your right the body language and effort from a few players speaks volumes.

I was shot down, but I’m afraid I was right! I hate seeing my beloved OUFC lose, but losing in this fashion, and the way things have been at the club for sometime, it’s been blindingly obvious that a change of personal is needed. We should of fired him in the summer.
I think it’s fair to change your mind in response to changing circumstances. There were people in the summer, before any teams had signed anyone, berating Robinson for going on holiday with his family, while also calling for him to go. I don’t know if you were one of them, but I think that if you were calling for him to go when nothing was ostensibly wrong, it doesn’t make you right that things have now gone wrong (that’s ‘you’ in the general sense rather than you specifically - got no interest in getting into personal forum feuds). If anything, it undermines the original view.

Karl is an embarrassment to this club when he has rants about other clubs.

Last season it was plymouth and playing their music too loud.

Today he’s having a pop at MK Dons saying they’re laughing and joking in there when they’re on the same points as us.

🤡

If we’d had Stevens in goal, Williams and Sykes as fullbacks, McNally in the back 3 and Agyei up front we’d have at least got a draw today.

Not assed about Stevens (2nd worst in the league last season) and I’m certainly not assed about Agyei.

However, we are definitely missing the dynamism, pace, trickery and work rate of both Williams and Sykes. Two players that we absolutely have not replaced. Unless Anderson, Wildschut and Murphy can somehow come in and revolutionise our season, it’s another dreadful error of judgment from Karl and the recruitment team.

Starting Brown and Henry as wing-backs is an absolute disgrace when you consider the budget we had in the summer!

IF WE DONT HAVE WING-BACKS THEN DONT PLAY 3-5-f*****g-2! It’s square pegs and round holes. Move to 4123. Play to strengths of the players that you have available.

Right now, Robinson is coming across as clueless.

For me there are only a handful of players who actually deserve to put on that yellow shirt on current performances. McGuane, Mousinho, CamBran, Brown and the youngsters.

But even worse there are some who are so poor that I actively want them gone rather than wear our shirt again. Bodin once again was completely anonymous all game and might as well have been at home with his feet up. It feels like he got his contract and decided that's job done. Easty, I feel bad saying this because he's been a fantastic servant to the club, but the decision to hold on to him and let Stevens go is a disgrace. He is not good enough anymore.

I'm a happy clapper and proud of it - but by the end of the game my friend and I were just laughing at the game because it was just that bad. Have we been unlucky? Yes. But luck is one thing, what we're seeing is beyond that.

Sorry Karl, I've been one of your supporters, but it's impossible to defend you anymore, and has been for a while. So long and thanks for all the fish.

In the same way that Malc’s posts have that Donovan line underneath them, Leysboy’s posts should have ‘Robbo out’ or ‘bye-bye Robbo’ to save him the effort of having to type it every two minutes!

Poor recruitment in the summer and poor tactics is ultimately going to cost us this season. The next manager is going to have to build a whole new team next season.
