I was just having a conversation with someone who has lots of investments. Probably everyone who has a holding is dumping as a suspension is imminent. It has £2.5billion of debts but all at low rate.
but then if everyone is selling it could be a Big loser
It’s one of those isn’t it.
The downside is taking the hit of the loss, but the upside, if the company can ride this s**t storm, is huge.
Lots of cash in the bank and as of a few weeks ago it was a strong ftse100 company paying a healthy dividend.
Personally, i am in the camp of it will be what it will be and if suspension or de-listing is on the cards, hey ho.
Where will it be in a few weeks, Christ alone knows.
I’ve taken plenty of risks in my time and this is just another. Some have paid off, some haven’t.
Hedged by position (so to speak) with a large pump into Lloyds and BP last Thursday (invasion day). Over the next year or so, what comes out of there will hopefully cover the exposure to Evraz. When/if Lloyds hit 53p and BP hit 400p, I’m clear.
