Always thought it applied to the FA Cup as well?

Or is there an exemption for Easter Saturday created by shifting everyone else's games?

Football league teams never play on Easter Saturday do they? Except for tv reasons.

It’s had it’s day as a notion anyway, if you want to watch a premier league game at 3 on a Saturday you can, I think the FA still think people stand outside Rumbelows on the London Road looking at the football scores come up on the vidiprinter.

According to a few sources, there is a little known rule that if 50% of the "main league" isn't playing at 3pm, they can break it. As most of the league played yesterday, they deem it to be ok.

This is the first time it has been employed.
