League One Saturday 27th

Them results were decent apart from the Pompey one. Need a draw at Sunderland and a win against Accy and we will be right in the mix.

The Netherlands are playing at home Latvia at the moment with 5000 supporters on the stadium. Split over 7 areas including 1 with no distance restrictions.
Could this be the beginning of something good. Or the start of a third covid wave?

More likely the latter.

That was quite a fun afternoon. Watched Sky sports news as the dramas unfolded (as they say in all the best places)

Accrington were being watched by Jamie Mackie who was very critical of their defence - could have scored wearing his slippers - was one classic line. He even thought he would have scored so they must have been bad!
Let's hope they remain as bad come Monday week then we can fill our boots as well.

Of the teams we are competing with for a playoff spot, only Portsmouth won. Gills, Blackpool & Ipswich drew. Donny & Accy lost.

A very decent set of results.

The mayhem is here.

Some of those goals are ridiculously easy. Accrington press so high that a basic long ball causes havoc. We have to make sure Barker is running at them from the off.

Portsmouth experiencing a significant new manager ‘ bounce ‘ under Cowley.

And one team who aren’t are Bristol Rovers. Seven defeats in 10 for lovable scouser Joey Barton. They look doomed.

Barton was quoted as being very disparaging about previous managers. Set them up to lose, apparently!

Accrington lost four players to injuries at Peterborough today and have more than a dozen on the treatment table.
