General Overrated/Underrated Players

I was just thinking about players who rarely got injured and how a couple of those right now would help us out.

And who should come to mind for that - Dannie Bulman. Got rid of way too quickly by Wilder (and he admitted as such) and then played a further 422 matches after leaving us including two promotions.

One of my favourite players from that era.

It was the ideal midfield three we had that season:

The mercurial, Hollywood-pass playing, wonder-goal scoring box-to-box guy in Chapman (kind of like a Conference-level Brannagan)
The energetic water carrier with drive and decent passing range in Clist (the Conference-level McGuane)
And the tough-tackling uncompromising midfield destroyer in Bulman (the player we haven't had since Gorrin did his ACL the first time.......)

RR is particularly unconvincing when we're up against it though looks great against the likes of Burton.

If you're suggesting that RR's a tad over-rated (though not in his own estimation, I concur), I concur.

Liam Kelly was over-rated, I think. Certainly looked taller than he played.
