General - New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Land Deal

It's County Council land so all Oxfordshire residents views should be equal. It's interesting that Muddleton talks about giving more weight to those who will have to live with the stadium for decades to come. Maybe then we should only seek the views of those under 30, and they are the ones...

I've said exactly this. The local village pubs could do very well if they're organised. The matchday trade could be what keeps them going. Both Yarnton pubs, the legion, The Royal Sun at Begbroke and others north of Kidlington for example will benefit from extra trade if they welcome it. Even Woodstock isn't that far away.

The Red Lion in Yarnton opened in December after it was bought by Oak Taverns. It had been closed since the summer of 2022 and was bought by the pub company after a community bid to buy the pub failed.

The 'perfectly good' stadium in cowley hosts Speedway and greyhound racing , with a capacity of 2-2.5k spectators its not suitable for hosting EFL football is it?
