Blame everyone else when you screw it up.

No doubt the coal industry would've been looked on more favourably, had they been Tory party donors.

But if those commie anarchists had targeted the coal industry with the price they were charging and forced it down to compete mainly with Poland the y would have been alright for a few years
 
OK, we'll forgive her for destroying one nationalised industry. How about British Aerospace, British Airways, British Gas, British Petroleum, British Steel, British Telecom, Britoil, Rolls Royce and all the electricity and water boards? - all privatised for the benefit of who? If it was the country, why haven't we seen the benefits - 40 years is the accepted yardstick is it not?

Not to mention the Poll Tax, the sale of council houses and the seeds of NHS Privatisation, Mass unemployment, 15% interest rates and to top it all, the fcuking milk......

I'm pretty sure some people on here struggle to think of Britain as anything other than the boy pushing a bike up a hill in the Hovis advert. That was when bread was bread you know. None of this 'half and half best of both' woke bread you get now.

They should - Truss' appointment means no hike in corporation tax for them.

If she follows through on her rhetoric during the leadership campaign, we're going to get a very clear view of whether trickle down economics can actually work. Because it's going to be lower taxes for businesses and the wealthy, and less income redistribution.

I would not like to be someone who has to rely on the British state for anything in the next two years.......
 
At least the Tories won't be able to claim Keir Starmer has no personality or charisma - he has loads compared to this awful Truss woman.

No plan/no idea? Might not age well but we will see.

Bumpy ride? Maybe, but this country has been through and recovered from far worse.
