Not sure if it’s been mentioned already but a great piece of PR for the club yesterday on Earth day by BBC South News. They did a whole edition on green solutions and had an excellent bit on our new green credentials including the video of the new stadium and an interview with Jon Clark.

It’s true of the Kasstad as well. I remember the owner of Farrs commenting on here that finding staff on match days was his biggest issue despite offering top dollar.

The atmosphere in the stands was very toxic towards the manager, it was said on The Dub that fans were chanting for him to get the sack constantly which can’t have helped team morale. So him going might be a plus for Barnsley unfortunately.

I hate the modern trend in football where the commentators and pundits all seem to jump on latest buzzwords and use them continually. A example being I just heard Gary Neville and the commentator both use the word “delicious” to describe a pass or goal. FFS.

Josh Knight, no 5, in particular looked like one of the worst defenders I’ve ever seen. With his first 3 passes he passed to Leigh twice with the third straight into touch. Was gutted when saw he wasn’t out for the second half!

I thought Browne looked a little lethargic when he came on as well with regard to tracking back as compared to recent cameos. I wondered whether Des said to take it easier as we’d already won the game but thought it odd.

The point about Kidlington residents renting out their driveways to us hordes completely baffles me. Why would anyone have a problem with a neighbour doing that? If someone wants to offer a space and get paid for it then good luck to them and why not!

Well if Des did rip it all and up and start again he’s a prize mug for doing that mid season when he looked at the players, he had ample time to realise he didn’t have the right players to suit a different style. Therefore adaptability might not be his strong point then.
