Passed the triangle on the bus into Oxford earlier. There’s a digger in there. Not
The FIT scheme is long closed. Sorry, but this will not be available to the club. Also, they will not be treated as a domestic user. Alone the capacity of generation will push them into a different category. In the UK we have the Feed in Tariff (FIT). You pay a normal electricity bill and then submit your solar panel meter reading quarterly. This generates a payment to the customer. One element is for the total amount generated which is by far the biggest part. Then there is a much smaller payment for the electricity exported which is a theoretical amount not based on how much power is actually exported. This is how it works for domestic users like me who bought there panels before 2012 when the Tories stated to slash the FIT. Luckily payments are linked to the Consumer Price Index and the contract stands for 25 years.

I would Imagine we would be treated as a small scale solar farm. The FIT scheme is long closed. Sorry, but this will not be available to the club. Also, they will not be treated as a domestic user. Alone the capacity of generation will push them into a different category.
So based on that, OUFC could start the season at the Kassam if necessary.Probably been posted before just thought it was interesting

Well done, I've been looking for that and failed! I had a vague memory of such a covenant and then supposed I was thinking of the Manor. (held by the bowls club until Kassam chucked a few quid at them!)Probably been posted before just thought it was interesting

More importantly who at the council let them know there was this email.I think them going to the press with this and it seeming to have no impact, unsurprisingly given that it was without context etc, plus the mess up of the attempted grant from KPC has rocked FOSB and seems to have knocked them for six.
They had very few cards to play and very few members willing to do much, once those cards had been played it left them exposed as a couple of nimbys with no real case/cause other than not in my backyard, which isn’t a reason against building something.
Can you post the full source for these quotes please, Billy? Ta.

There was a digger in there. Not sure what it was actually doing, hopefully something to do with the new stadium. Possibly ground samples of some sort?

Interestingly, I see they are still awaiting a reply from their letter from last August to Leyla Moran demanding that she speaks out against the developments.......
