But it was his attitude towards us fans with their failed take mover attempt

Despite no previous background in football and no reason to do so other than his own ego and greed, he has opted, twice, to take a 'day job' that involves directly competing with, and ultimately trying to benefit at the expense of, Oxford United.

I have no issue with Charlie whatsoever, but to imply that his apparent conflict of interest is because he had no choice but to take a 'day job' (as though he were a cleaner at Charlton or a turnstyle operator at Sunderland) is entirely disingenuous.

He is as affluent and well-connected as the next old-Etonian. He can satisfy his thirst for power and money in a myriad of ways.
It doesn't need to be done by going head-to-head with OUFC.

It's entirely reasonsble for him to be pulled up on this.
