We are down. Please stop pretending. Karl Robinson and his lackadaisical summer and the boards failure to do anything in January has ultimately got us playing Barrow next season.

A great club left in the hands of clowns (and I include Liam Manning in that)

As much as I agree about the boards failings… we are not down.

3 games and enough points available to keep us up.

The fat lady may well be warming up her lungs but as yet she is not on stage banging out a tune.

Angry and anxious, yes. But given up all hope, no.

Tuesday is crucial. I didn’t expect us to win today and sooner or later we will win.
Manning deserves a win and he has been dealt a horrible hand thanks to our friend Karl.
I will stick my neck out and say we will win against Cheltenham and Forest Green.
I can’t seriously see us challenging next season in L1 if we stay up.
If we go down Id expect no more than the play offs. We have been left a really poor hand

This is all so f*****g rotten from the very top to the very bottom, and at this stage I need to retract what I said a few weeks ago.

I was under the impression that a stimulus could see us start picking up points. I thought our players were underperforming but after 17 fuck1ng games of misery we are simply not good enough.

We can go round in circles all night long but the main objective of the f*****g game is to score. We can't score. We don't look like scoring. We don't have the ability or mindset to start anytime soon so I'm afraid it's relegation for us.

It's f*****g s**t and I don't think we are really up for the fight if I'm honest.
Ive recently had kids but managed to attend vs Bolton last week. I was losing my s**t at various stages, but fans around me basically told me to sit down and be quiet.
Everything is passive and sterile, and it just feels the drop is inevitable.

Come on Kip, Manning's inherited an incomplete squad of very poor players and crocks, there really isn't much he can do, other than work with what he's got, and try to at least make us hard to beat, although I bet even he didn't realise just how bad this group of players actually were when he took the job.

We knew we weren't gonna get much from the last three games, and that it was always gonna hinge on what we can get from these three final games, but if that moron KR was still in charge, we'd be stuck on 36 points, and already as good as down.

None of us know how good Manning is, until he's had a chance to dismantle this shambles of a squad, and build his own.

I would of hoped for a win by now. It's ridiculous how our fans accept zero wins .

Only 5 players have scored more than 2 goals this season.
One of which is Matt Taylor, and another has only scored 3 goals (Long).

Two 1-0 wins should see us safe though.

Not sure anyone is accepting of the situation, but by the same token, we are not down yet.

Why are you critical of fans for accepting zero wins when you yourself have already thrown in the towel, accepting relegation?

It’s not over, till it’s over. Try to find some belief 👍

Poor @RgYellows taking a bit of a kicking on this thread for having the audacity to suggest that OUFC could potentially, sometime, win a game of football.

Interestingly it's from two diametrically opposed camps - those that hate KR so much that they think that to suggest we could win a game of football somehow undermines the (correct) assertion that KR has built a poor squad (it doesn't) or those who blindly support every manager and player and so can't bring themselves to consider that 5 points from 21 isn't anything other than a decent return.
B*****s to it.

I think that either Michael Appleton or Grant McCann would’ve won a game by now.

SO LONG, STINK TOWN!

And where is Marty Taylor? He would have put some of the chances away. Gross incompetence from KR and the board shipping him out in the position we were.

Yeah, we really do struggle to score. There's an xG table doing the rounds in which we're joint 7th in the division. Most of our underperformance compared to that is that we haven't scored anything like the number of goals our chances deserve.

In a relegation battle - You do not send your best striker out on loan to another L1 side then bring in others who you refuse to give a chance to and rely on an unproven 18 year old (who is undoubtedly talented)) to keep you in league 1. Something is very wrong at our football club.

Ah well we have 48 hours to relax! As do the players I wonder if Tuesday against pompey really cost us today because they all put a major shift in that night. Clutching at straws but Cheltenham might prefer us to stay in lg1 nice short local trip for them.

I doubt the good folk from Cheltenham look forward to Oxford visiting each year apart from potential easy points.

The Board have to take a large part of the blame for the knife edge situation we face, but so should we as fans. I am fully behind the idea of backing players generally when they are on the pitch, but we took the ‘support the team’ principle too far. It was clear by October/November that we had a shower of shite, but we waited to the end of February, one point from eight games, and a three nil defeat to Rovers who were an awful side, and on an awful run, before we collectively called for his sacking - why?

Dissenting views are what keeps organisations and nations honest. So the next time someone wants to call for the manager to be sacked at a game - don’t tell them to shut up, let them, they may be able to see something you can’t!
