A midweek away night game at an old school stadium. What’s not to love even if we are f*****g rubbish?

I’ll be there.

Pompey 3-1 Oxford.
Bishop x2 & Curtis / Brannagan.
18,000 (800 away supporters)

Forget all this talk about KR going if he loses etc, I want us to hammer this mob tonight, with Curtis, Cowley and that tw#t of a centre forward who elbowed Elliot Moore last season (if he has not moved on to) all seeing red....
...and preferably all this is done to the sound of "we're sh#t and we're beating you " from the away end

Would love to beat Portsmouth. There has always been a bit of needle in the fixture and Fratton Park is a great, atmospheric old ground.

Can’t see us picking up much from this one but would love a spirited display and a really dogged effort as a bare minimum. Can’t see it however, 4-1 Portsmouth.

It wouldn’t be that unlike us to go there and get something at a time when everything seems a bit of a mess. 3-2 Oxford - Bodin 2, Moore.

I think all of us are expecting a defeat and probably a good stuffing .Its going to be a while before we can see a change in our fortunes 5-1 sadly.

London based official Sam Purkiss is tonight’s referee at Fratton Park.
Purkiss was promoted to the EFL in the summer of 2019. He refereed two U’s games last season ;
the 0-0 home draw with Rotherham in November and the 4-1 home victory over Burton in March.
His last Portsmouth fixture was their 0-1 defeat at Home Park, Plymouth in March.

3-0 defeat, and then we can all take a deep breath. “Thank god the clown is gone tomorrow”.

6-0 We find this a tough fixture even when we’ve been on form in the past. Now that our form has gone this one feels like shades of Clotet versus Wigan, it could be a horror show 🎃

All our league defeats have been by a solitary goal. We don’t concede many but then again the opposition don’t need to score many to beat us.

2-1 defeat and curtains for KR.

It does feel like we are approaching a crossroads, people in the media and people who seem to have an in at the club are saying lose tonight and that’s it for Robinson, that must of come from somewhere.

I wouldn’t put any money on us getting a result, don’t think we will but I suppose stranger things have happened. I would expect the team to basically be Robinsons lads, he isn’t going to put his future in the hands of those who he has alienated and never fancied.

Will be a goal difference either way, and it might very well be for us. Games against Pompey are usually better than average and these are the ones we invariably get something out of.

we don't lose and such Negativity is washed out to sea. Then the Outers can continue their "if we don't win the next game he's gone"

After all that's far better to have a negative Mindset approaching every game
I think some negativity is justified after picking up only 22 points from the last 21 league games. Hardly a blip is it.
