It's just a couple of forms and a bit of money. No worries. Who wants to work in Belgium anyway?

You're not called Simon Williams then?Yeah.
Just buck up and get on with it.
No-Tongue in cheekYou're not called Simon Williams then?
Brexiters giving up phrase โyou lost, get over itโ for Lent
Brexiter Simon Williams has said he is giving up saying โYou lost, get over itโ for the duration of Lent in recognition of the sacrifices made by Jesus in his favourite book.newsthump.com
Your answer would kind of work if Brexiteers campaigned on a promise of more red tape.Plenty of countries require visa`s et al if folk choose to go and work there.
America: https://visaguide.world/us-visa/nonimmigrant/employment/
Austrlia: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia
And so on......
We aren`t "in the EU club" anymore so Belgium can ask for whatever they wish.
They ask for this.... "You will also need a medical certificate from one of the Belgian embassy's 'approved' doctors."

'There will be no downsides, only considerable upsides' David Davis.Surely border control requires paperwork?
And surely it works both ways once FOM ended?
Thought that was part of the sales pitch, funny how the same thing looks different...
Do you have a business that has been affected by this ?'There will be no downsides, only considerable upsides' David Davis.

And its nice to see Ed`s whining is supported by all those Twatterati with little EU flags by their "name".
Maybe Ed should also have taken note that things would be changing a bit sooner than shortly before his departure.
Unless youโre in one of a tiny handful of professions, you canโt just choose to go work in the US. Your only chance for a work visa, as a Brit, is to get sponsored by a company. And thatโs a tough ask in itself because the cost and red tape for them in hiring you (vs an American) is prohibitive. Most jobs in most companies, they wonโt even consider applicants unless they already have the right to work in the US (as, for example, I did through marriage). It would likely be nigh-on impossible for the majority of Brits to get a US work visa.
As you say, 27 EU countries can also now start to apply similar UK restrictions.
Whereas last year, it was easy for us to go and live & work in those countries, now itโs difficult and one day it might also be nigh-on impossible.
From my perspective, thatโs a massive amount of freedom that we gave up on Jan 1st.
You wouldn't be misrepresenting facts by presenting this as a Brexit win when it applies to a prior time period would you...And if you want some "wins"...... ease of doing business...... only behind Denmark out of the 27..

Er... irrelevant.Do you have a business that has been affected by this ?
Yes, whilst we were in the EU. You're doing a good job of single-handedly dismantling your case. And if you want some "wins"...... ease of doing business...... only behind Denmark out of the 27..
