Can’t disagree with a single word of that. My thoughts entirely. If Robbo handed him a two year contract at the end of this season I’d be a bit underwhelmed - as either a championship club or a L1 club. We need more than neat and tidy.

Getting a fee for someone who we got on a free 4 months ago.

The two positions he plays in we have Ruffels and Shodipo who have (significantly) improved since he arrived.

He has got a longer contract than we were willing to offer.

Our business is far from done and other players will come in.



But you're right, it must stink!!!!

but we havent got left back cover now.
 
1) Bit of a shame, because I thought his delivery from the left was often terrific, and perfect for a striker like Matty

2) On the other hand, getting a fee for someone we recently brought in on a free is great business

3) What the hell do we do now if Ruffels gets injured or suspended? The only other person I can think of that can play LB (without breaking up the Moore-Atkinson partnership....which we damned well shouldn't do) is Long - but then we'd have to shift Forde or (shudder) Hanson back to RB. We basically have no cover now at the fullback positions. Going to have to get lucky with suspensions and injuries

4) We 100% have to bring in another winger now if we want to continue KR's preferred 4-2-3-1 / 4-1-4-1 systems. If we instead bring in Grigg, we'd have no option but to change things up tactically.
 
Meanwhile on the tinpot anti football team forum theres 1 post on Obita joining them!

Look like Last minute penalty Jacobson is out injured so they needed a low cost replacement.

In terms of what he was (or was not) offered, you have not one iota of proof. You know as much (as little) as the rest of us.

As for "our" business, you don't know anything there either.

But, yes, it does stink.

Championship only in disguise nothing else. But no doubt those muppets down the A40 will be creaming their panties saying how they took out best player🤔
