Home Match Day Thread +++ 29/01/2019 OUFC v Barnsley Match Day Thread +++

2 up at home with 20 mins to go you simply have to win. Yes everyone here would of probably taken that before kick off but not after being 2 up. First time I've said it, but something needs to change and that is the manager.
Fleetwood away? lol We have had our share of late goals and scrambled results ourselves. It's just variance
(Man City lose after being 1-0 with 20 to go - sack him?) - Sean Dyche too after tonight?

Not sure if you have seen it Kip but Concrete bob asked a decent question. How come you weren't posting when we were 2 up?
I was going to wait for the result and post a simple celebration, then the equaliser went in on the radio and i had to voice my displeasure.

I really was happy at 2 up!

Funny how you aren’t so simple in your views when we don’t win...

Robbo is full of it again in the interview. Not sure what to make of him but always sounds annoyed at not having any attacking subs but he had Carruthers. Why didn’t the interviewer point that out?!

So why did you not post when you were "really happy when we were 2-0 up", but only then post when the equaliser went in..?

Why weren't both possible?

I'll take that. 4 points from Barnsley and Pompey. We had our chances. I don't think there was much between us and them.

Let's see who tho striker is that'll be the 'best paid player in years'
I’ve got a weird feeling in my water it might be Peter Crouch....

Just to say I'm not normally negative at all. Just super frustrating as you could see it coming.. it's crap being 2 nil up at home and not feeling the slightest bit confident your actually gonna win.

Yes looking at it from the outside 4 pts from pompey and Barnsley is great but really should of been 6 and every single point means everything now.. that is 2 pts dropped whichever way you look at it

I was reluctant to post as last time i did we were well up against Scunny and we know what happened there. Bad luck and all that. Counting chickens.

In hindsight its given the wrong impression.

Agh deffo feels like a loss. 2-0 up, could have been 3 if that rebound had gone in. Is it a sign of a doomed team? Perhaps if we had lost in the 91st min.

All ifs and buts. Why did we go so deep at 2-1? Close them down and get at them 3 of there backline were on a yellow FFS. Mousinho unbelievable, the difference with and without him in the team is insane.

I watched on i follow in Spain. I give up with this forum and some of its doom mongers. We played well, showed great heart and stats show we had plenty of shots, 3 hitting the bar and their keeper making a few decent saves. KR had every right to feel aggrieved at the hatchet like treatment meted out on Whyte throughout the second half. Hanson made one crucial error but was excellent apart from that imo. The effort was there for all to see. Most encouraging. Those who slag Robbo off at every opportunity...just give it a rest please. I suspect, reading between the lines, the guy coming in will be very experienced. I am guessing Vaughan but Crouch is not too farfetched. We now need to get behind the team and the club personnel and secure safety.

Before the game I would have been happy with 1 point, however again we have been let down by our defensive frailties, looking at the league table we have missed out massively by not getting all 3 points, we would have been up to 17.
