Carp Fishing

Am currently into sport sea fishing around Singapore. Nothing too heavy. Luring for mainly groupers & snappers. Jigging for trevallies & certainly rays. Catch & release; queenfish, parrots, puffers, sawfish, certain rays & tropical fishes.
I might be returning to England in June 2024 after 10 years. Love fishing out here.

I used to go fishing in Whites Bar. Caught crabs there. Does that count?

My nephew goes carping all over Europe and he’s recently got back from Hungary.
He went to sleep one night with his bivvy flap open. He got woken up absolutely terrified by a fox attacking him in the middle of the night, had cuts to his face and hands and got taken to hospital for stitches and rabies jab. The next night was like gunfight at the O.K. Corral with the foxes being shot.
On the up side his week perked up and he caught carp up to 90lb.

Back in the day at the TC lake at Peartree, Milton Pools and few other places.
Also done a bit of match fishing for West Oxford in the Winter League.

Got into it big time in the 70s early 80s and spent a fortune at Wilkins tackle shop in Cowley!

GH Williams were decent with bicycle repairs too, if memory serves
