Well, first time for two weeks. Table after we beat Fleetwood at the beginning of the month...
They then drew against Reading letting us above them on April 6th, reclaiming 6th place on the 20th.
That might play into our hands though. We are a better side if teams come at us a bit instead of sitting back. Exeter could play with just enough freedom to allow us to get our wingers in on the counter attack.
Nowt wrong with the Penny, I'm quite happy to sink a few pints in there at that price. Certainly better than the White Hart for instance, and a damn sight cheaper than staying on Langford and going to The Nightingale.
Have there been any opinion polls on this question? The only one I've found is this in The Economist...
...which I guess shows nobody has a clue about it. There must be a 'proper' poll out there somewhere, which doesn't use damn emojis...
Six quid? Bargain. You should try going out in Thame for a drink, one of the pubs happily charged £7.10 for a pint of Peroni... Was glad to get back to Bicester after that 🤣
OUFC are precisely Oxfordshire United - Typical of someone who isn't from here not to recognise this. His basic lack of understanding about an Oxfordshire institution is just staggering.
Actually Odin could probably do a job for us. He's getting on a bit these days of course, and the one eye thing would probably restrict his peripheral vision and depth perception, but he'd still be better than a lot who have turned out for us.
