@Scotchegg Can't wait for your mental gymnastics this week to defend Sam Long. 1st choice RB needed in the summer.

That is an odd take considering this season alone we have had to use the sub keeper.

Or it's based on the fact that with with 2/3 days to go there are still gaps in the squad (like every other window). Still needed is a CDM (Josh McEachran should be no where near a "promotion chasing team"), RW (Browne, Murphy, Edwards injured & Tyler Goodrham not at the level needed to start...

That's two injuries then. I wouldn't hold my breath for another striker this window. Three players for one postion when other areas are still thinner than that. I would say Goodwin will be your only striker signing, a winger & maybe a midfielder (that's a doubt), but would love to be proved wrong.

That was end of days KR levels of performance against a team In the relegation zone. I don't think the squad or manager can get promotion (without heavy investment (5 players).

I think that's our business done. To the posters that believe we have enough / don't want another striker, If Harris picks up a 3-6 month injury in the game tomorrow are you still happy with GoD and Perkins? (Who could be great, but it is currently untested). Great window overall.

Very pleased with the window, still concerned over the striker situation given how unproved Perkins is & GoD rawness. If that is our business done, I would assume that the money for a striker had to be reallocated to cover for Browne's injury and a sacrifice had to be made somewhere.
