I was in the old supporters club under the Beech Road stand with my dad, I was 10 years old. I think it was a Saturday or Friday lunchtime when we heard that we had been elected into the Football League.
It sounds as if Reading will be taken over by a wealthy consortium.
It won’t be long before their fans will be taking the P**s out of other clubs in trouble.

Sorry I struggle with Reading, really up themselves when others struggled.
They didn’t want us in the Football League in 1962.

I could not believe how dangerous the steps were at the back of SSU.
I am over seventy now and still nimble, but those slippery steps at the top were very worrying.
After working in a factory for over 50 years, I am astonished that the Health & Safety have not clamped down on the stadium...
