Thohir

Call me old fashioned Ed, but doesn't someone claiming to be "investigating sport" (I.e a journalist) need evidence for their claims?

Why don’t you call the court yourself? they will confirm. Landlines only - 0906 7540043. If you need the docket number it’s 009553. Or ask Mark G as he’s very precious about such things

This has the potential to be a game-changer, but the proof will be in what actually happens over the next 6 months or so.
It would be great if Tiger and his pals could make a statement by funding a couple of quality additions to the squad in January as a signal of their good faith.

We will take that as a no you don't have any evidence.

Fair play to Tiger though, he's managed to do what the others couldn't and brought in someone with actual money! Good times ahead

Troubling news.

Glad to see the new FD is in full control...,,,

Hold on, hold on, hold on. We’re all excited that a man with a bulging wallet and a history of doing good work with football teams is coming on board. Let’s not be drawing up the shopping list for Ronaldo, Messi, Hazard and Jack Midson just yet!

What’s his intention here? New stadium? Purchase the current stadium?
What is he bringing to the club? Cash? Contacts? Links to the US and Italy?
Is he going to be here a lot and attend matches? Or is his role purely business driven?
Is he going to be actively involved? Does he see KR and his investment in the youth players as part of the greater plan?

I have a lot more questions about this. On the face of it, this looks like a real game changing appointment and someone with the business nous and contacts to go toe-to-toe with Uncle Firoz. On the other hand, is his involvement sincere or a means of stepping into English football with his eye on another team?

Interesting times ahead. I hope RadOx or the OM can get a bigger scoop on this.

Pretty much all of this.
It's hard to not get a teensy bit excited, mind.
I do hope the fans stay patient and the team stays focused. We are still down the bottom of the table, after all.

IF (as Hawk alleges) we are in troubled financial times, then I would expect the club will have to make some sort of public statement PDQ.

Just sayin....

Board really taking shape now. With Geike having a background in property development and Thohir delivering DC United a new ground, hopefully a new stadium isn't too far away?

Probably could have just posted that immediately with your claims? Would then avoid any antsy questioning

All in the public domain. It would take 3 minutes to get the details yourself. Besides the original ‘claims’, which are also known as facts, were made by MarkG. So turn your shooter that way

I don’t have a shooter to point. I believe, maybe wrongly, that if you present information you should maybe provide the evidence for it. You clearly had it so could have presented it immediately to avoid some irritation.

As an aside, was the players not being paid also in the public domain?

Out of genuine interest (and not suspicion) how does one access the document you just supplied at its original source? I presume it is online, do you search the docket number?

Tbh I think this would have been known sooner than what hawk has posted
