Let’s use this thread to highlight the loss of benefits by not supporting OUFCs plans

fantastic sporting facilities

Significant money for the Kidlington residents.

Somebody posted the £ and % of the local budget spends on SB. Whist had facilities need to be significantly upgraded ( changing rooms, drainage)

With Councils under a huge financial squeeze, don't the local council have an obligation to explain this to the local residents? I am a little surprised that they don't have a legal obligation to give upsides and downsides, including financial implications

The once in a lifetime opportunity to provide Oxfordshire with a state of the art world class venue, capable of not only holding football matches, but major sporting events and the worlds biggest artists as a concert venue. The opportunity to provide our children and future generations with some of the very best facilities in the country.

The development will have to adhere to the Environment Act 2021 in which biodiversity will have to be improved by 10%.

Since the proposed development aims to be green, it will also have to improve biodiversity too. Bearing in mind grass is ecologically useless - and that's all there is at SB and The Triangle* - the development promises that biodiversity will be improved in Kidlington around the stadium's development.

*Were they a lesser known Motown band from the '60s?
