It’s all coming to the fore now.
Some have known for a while and some have suspected.
We have a Chairman who doesn’t actually appear to do anything.
We have a CEO who is more concerned with doing fluffy self promotion pieces, photo opportunities, whilst boasting about retail sales and matchday activations, rather than the nitty gritty work of putting in a support structure for a young inexperienced manager, who they have lured from the other side of the world.
Ferguson and Williams have let down Buckingham, badly.
I have been wondering since Ferguson got the job what he actually does because he is so low profile and why owners who are out of the country made a man who is also out of the country the chairman? Makes no sense and it’s just seems a waste of time.
Williams came in with the flash CV but again, apart from when there is something in it for him, appears to hardly ever be about. He also seems so stung by Manning leaving that he doesn’t want to give Buckingham any of his own support staff so if Buckingham does go it’s just a straight manager for manager swap. Trouble is he has marginalised Buckingham and it’s making an already tough transition much tougher.
